My Cruise To Lose

The dining hall overflowed with lavish food. Prime rib sliced by the chef, buttered beans, garlic mashed potatoes, and my personal favorite, a dessert table with seven varieties of ice cream, three different cheesecakes, and a crème brûlée to die for.

How and why would I ever start a diet on a cruise?

The simple answer is I don’t know. I was thirty-three, 30 pounds over weight, and I didn’t like the way I looked.

I’d also like to tell you it was extremely difficult, but honestly, making the decision to do it was all I needed. Starting a diet while on vacation is odd, I agree, but the cruise provided many low fat and whole grain options, plus grilled fish and numerous fresh fruits and vegetables. All in all my will power overcame any of my desires.

After the cruise, I returned home and stayed the course until I lost all 30 pounds.

Once I set my mind on something, I do it. Whether earning a degree, raising a family, or losing weight, I seem to just stick to it. It’s like a light switch in my head, once it’s flipped there’s no going back.

So you can imagine my surprise when this small, droopy pooch still remained below my stomach. I’m not talking flabby skin, this was an overhanging fat deposit.

Where did this come from? This was never here before!

I’m not a super model, but I had my weight right where I wanted to be. Everything else looked great. The rest of my stomach was fine, no spare tire around the waist, no lower back fat, just this ugly out-of-place pooch.

It was like a fanny pack you couldn’t take off!

That’s when I decided to get CoolSculpting. I knew it would work. There was never a doubt in my mind. After reading all the science and test studies, I was sold. It made perfect sense. Of course you can freeze fat cells, and then they’ll die and leave the body for good.

One treatment is all it took.

I’m happy to say I’ve kept the weight off. I love the way I look! And if the fanny pack pooch rears its ugly self again, I’ll be cruising in to freeze it again!
